The drama and thriller Inferno that was directed by the famous filmmaker Ron Howard is going to be presented in worldwide theaters very soon, on the 28th of October. That’s why many film-goers have already seen it and have formed their own opinion. But, in spite of all critical reviews, people still want to see the film, listening to its songs and soundtracks. Composed by the innovative Hollywood’s musician, Hans Zimmer, these scores are uplifting and emotional.
The composer is famous for creating television scores and video game music. Starting his carrier, the musician cooperated with his mentor Stanley Myers. Among the most popular common works of two outstanding composers is score for the film “My Beautiful Laundrette” (1985). The well-known solo projects of Hans Zimmer include the music for Pearl Harbor (2001), The Ring (2002), Matchstick Men (2003), Hannibal (2001), Black Hawk Down (2001), Thelma & Louise (1991), Penny Marshall's Riding in Cars with Boys (2001), A League of Their Own (1992), Tony Scott's True Romance (1993), Tears of the Sun (2003), Ron Howard's Backdraft (1991), Days of Thunder (1990), Smilla's Sense of Snow (1997), and the animated “Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron” (2002).
His work has been nominated for 7 Golden Globes, 7 Grammys and seven Oscars for Rain Man (1988), Gladiator (2000), The Lion King (1994), As Good as It Gets (1997), The Preacher's Wife (1996), The Thin Red Line (1998), The Prince of Egypt (1998), and The Last Samurai (2003).
During his music carrier, the composer has created more than 100 film scores. His unique style is notable for combining of new and old musical technologies, electronic music with traditional orchestral arrangements.
The talented professionals from the sound department are also worth mentioning. The sound mixers Adrian Bell and János Csáki, the voice-over actors Mauso Bossi and Ayse Eldek, as well as many other sound assistants, boom operators and foley editors have made their contribution to the film creation.
The plot was already duly appreciated by critics. When Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to stop a madman from unleashing a global virus that would wipe out half of the world's population. Starring: Tom Hanks, Felicity Jones, Ben Foster and others.
Some critics who have already left their reviews on Rotten Tomatoes site, think that Inferno is not dynamic and silly film. They consider that and it is not the best part of the popular Dan Brown’s trilogy (the previous ones are The Da Vinci Code (2006) and Angels & Demons (2009). But in spite of the negative critical reviews, 97% of people still want to see the mystery thriller and listen to its original songs. We, Soundsize team, wish you pleasant viewing and hope that you will enjoy the ingenious music composed by Hans Zimmer.
